This Privacy Policy explains how the Stone Cut application and the Stone Cut platform, operated by Ideabat ("we", "us", "our"), collect, use, and protect information when you and your team use the app to manage stone, marble, and countertop work orders.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: name, email address, phone number, and a securely hashed password.
  • Company information: company name, address, and business contact details.
  • Order and customer information: customer names, addresses, phone numbers, and job details entered by your team.
  • Media: photos and videos uploaded for measurement and installation records.
  • Signatures: customer signatures captured to confirm measurement and installation jobs.
  • Logs and notifications: workflow events, timestamps, and user actions used to run the order lifecycle.
  • Technical data: device, app, and network information used as needed for security, troubleshooting, and support.

2. How We Use Information

  • Create and manage accounts and log you in.
  • Manage companies and team members.
  • Run the order workflow: measurement, review, cutting, polishing, and installation.
  • Store and display the media and signature archive for each order.
  • Send workflow notifications.
  • Provide security, fraud prevention, and customer support.

3. How We Share Information

  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • Order and company data is visible only within your own company and team, except where platform administrators or support staff need access to operate or support the service.
  • We may share limited data with trusted service providers (for example hosting, email, or SMS) only where configured and only to run the service.
  • We may disclose information where required to comply with applicable laws or lawful requests.

4. Storage and Security

  • Passwords are stored using one-way hashing.
  • Access is restricted by company so that companies only see their own data (company-scoped access controls).
  • Production connections should use encrypted HTTPS transport.
  • Backups are maintained to protect against data loss.

5. Data Retention

We retain account, company, and order records for as long as they are needed to provide the service or as required by law. When you submit a deletion request, we handle it as described in our Delete Request page, subject to records we must retain for legal, security, or accounting obligations.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or contact support with any privacy question. Account holders can also request account deletion directly inside the app under Profile.

7. Children

Stone Cut is a business workflow application. It is not directed to and is not intended for children under 13, or under the minimum age required by your local law.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
